kukuruku recordings is a cdr label run by tasos stamou. it’s been active locally for some time now, but tasos had been waiting for the two latest releases to apear before bursting into the internet & beyond. the first two discs feature tasos, alone & with adam_is, in some very interesting electroacoustic trips; while newer discs feature topmodel, a berlin-based trio on cheap instruments & raw recordings, the illustrious dead traveller chanelling pagan customs & finally some improvisation-meets-enviromental recordings from barcelona under the title paisatges.

hhhmm… like the good ol’ days… every week a new release…
at least that’s how it worked the last 2-3 weeks over here. below’s the info on the new ones. including an antoine chessex 1sided LP, an al margolis / dan burke cdr on absurd and on little orion’s ‘okko’ records a cdr of larry gus.

upcoming there’s still plenty of stuff… next week in berlin for the 20th sudden infant anniversary (www.suddeninfant.com for infos) will come out a vinyl reissue of the rudolv eb.er / joke lanz ‘akustiche aktion’. a limited lp issued by pan records (www.pan-act.com) and absurd’s ‘all noises swell together in landscapes’ blog.

may / june sees an incredible nokalypse LP co-released with entracte (www.entracte.co.uk).

the more mars team is a militant diy entity from the city of larissa. they publish cd-r editions (sometimes simple ones, sometimes elaborate ones like in the case of the ‘deconstructive music’ 3xcd-r compilation) as well as a semi-regular e-zine. latest releases:

Bored Witch is the culmination of an unexisting trend or an imaginary hype. A band soaked in studio jams, obscure recording sessions and adventurous live appearances. The attitude in these tracks is punkish (in its very political sense) but they also add bits of kraut rock loads of no-wave, noise and improvisation. Muso Fantasma is the Spanish duo of Pedro Amodio & Adriana Petit, that work together creating music and collages.
